The following is a direct copy and paste of the text from a recent Emergency Alert System announcement regarding this crisis, broadcasted at 1:10 AM EST to all residents of Michigan and neighboring former Canadian provinces or former American states.
Citizens of the Eeveeperial American Government: lock all of your doors immediately.
As of 1:02 AM EST, it has been confirmed that an attack is imminent against this nation from a terrorist group known only as "The Industry." The location of this attack shall remain undisclosed; however, if you hear an air raid siren, you are within a 50-mile radius of this area and must evacuate immediately. Military forces are being deployed to assist with evacuations; all residents are ordered to follow evacuation routes posted and maintained by the Eeveeperial American Government. Contraflow has been enacted to help with evacuations.
When evacuating, pack at least 14 days worth of the following, if possible: food, water, clothing, medical supplies, and a battery-powered radio. Try to bring only the essentials to minimize your load. This will make evacuating quicker and easier. You should also tie a white towel to your mailbox or some other visible area when leaving your home; this will signal military personnel that you have obeyed the evacuation order and improve efficiency.
If you do not have a vehicle or are unable to evacuate on your own, dial 911 for assistance.
If you know anyone associating with or supporting The Industry, report them. Failure to report these individuals will result in criminal prosecution.
